Corsica River Yacht Club
Fall RC Laser sailing kicked off on Sunday morning at CRYC. Three boats went sailing in what I would call very close racing. The changing conditions often let boats pass each other during the races, with some races so close that the finish line had to be watched carefully to see who would win. If you have not come out to see this yet I encourage others to come. Next Sunday, Sep. 20, is lining up to be sailing at Rock Hall on that morning. ...

Last night we had the first race of the Please do not let it end Thursday night race.I am pleased to report that 1 Comet and 3 Windmills had a pleasant race out to R2 and back. Rowen with his wife as crew took an early lead and never looked back winning on boat corrected time and boat for boat. Next to finish was Kevin Lahoda skippering Rose the windmill with Roy as crew, Next was Erik Arnesen sailing his windmill with Felex Lahoda as crew Finishing out the fleet was Ed Simon with crew Bill Griswold as crew on Black and Blue windmill. Hi all, the official Thursday night racing closed out last week. I have been asked to have racing in September so we will give it a try. The start time is moved up to 5:30 PM so sailors should try to get to the club by 4:30 if they want to sail. If we get a good turnout we may do it again next week.
