The Comet Class Yacht Racing Association International Championship Regatta was held at CRYC August 27-30, 2026 beginning with a welcome barbecue on Thursday evening and six races over three days of sailing. Friday’s sailing forecast was for light winds, but sailing at the mouth of the Corsica and into the Chester River yielded 4 races. Saturday and Sunday had one race each. With catered meals on both Friday and Saturday evenings, everyone enjoyed the event.
There were crews from New York, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maine, and Bermuda ranging in ages from 12 to 86.
