Thanks to everyone who made the Laser District
11 Championships a big success - 67 Lasers
showed up for the event and put our facility to
the test for an event of this size or larger.
There was ample parking, the pier made access to
the patrol boats rather civilized, the camping
area was utilized, the grass is filling
in, and the pavilion provided a place to rest
and clean up. We have until next year to
come up with a solution on how to provide late
afternoon shade under the pavilion. There
are other wants and needs that still need to be
addressed, but as you can imagine the club is
still recovering from the financial expense of
building the facility and pier. So...
